Blue mountain ski area review Louis Vuitton Outlet UK We went to bear creek the day before on president's day and had a great time with our 3 families all basically beginners.We avoided blue mountain because we were told:1)The lodge stinks, 2)The staff rude, 3)Soo crowded we're regret it. 1)The lodge(S)Do stink vs.Bear creek.They are much older and not as large.The summit lodge at the top is small.The base lodge is not much bigger either. They do need updating and attention, butThe lodgeS are in decent condition.I wouldn't plan on spending the day inside(If you have babies, for example), but it was ok. 2)Staff wasn't rude.But they weren't as friendly as bear creek.Obviously this crew / mountain is aimed at more intermediateadvanced skiiers that know what they are doing, otherwise, they get a little annoyed it seems.Glad i didn't bring my 5 yr old daughter on the lifts. 3)It wasn't crowded at all but we were"Midweek"On a tuesday.The detachable quads on the long lifts left side of the mountain were great.Speedy trip up the mountain.The doubles were older and gave you that"Slap"On the butt as it scooped you up(No padding, like at bear creek).And obviously built before the frenchfryamerica supersizing of people's bodies Louis Vuitton Bags happened so you're nice and snug with your chair lift partner no matter what size you are. The trails were nice and long.If i'm correct, it's the longest trail Louis Vuitton Bags Sale lengths in the lv area.Which is nice.The double black diamonds were decent.One had a mougul farm and was fun(And hard for me! ).The other double black diamond was fair pretty straight, not much excitement. There are two beginner trails on each side of the mountain which are nice and long, winding, and wide at times.So as long as beginners can get on / off lifts ok, it's great since they spend a lot of time actually skiiing.The midmountain lift on the right side is great for those that need the break and want to do shorter runs plus that's where the ski school is for the summit lodge which had it's own area with a rope tow i think i saw it's isolated so no risk of others coming down the mountain and tackling the beginners in lessons at the base of the mountain as in other places. We basically had fun and skiied a lot.The lift lines were short.There was a couple of freestyle/ terrain parks for boarders which we didn't go down, but from up in the air on the lift, they didn't seem as fun as the ones at bear creek although i may be wrong. I got $10 off for giving them my business card(I have no clue where that promotion came from, the lady at the ticket booth asked if i had a business card, i gave it to here, and she charged my credit card $10 less without explaining).My friend didn't get asked, and paid full price.Wierd. The beginner's areas weren't that expansive, so in my opinion, this place is much more for those that are intermediate and beyond. There's tubing(Multiple people at once), but they open at 4pm10pm one worker said because all their employees are in school during the day.He also said there were 4 groups scheduled to go tubing(Reserved), so it was going to be very very crowded he recommended us trying out Jack Frost. Overall, this place is for skiiers, not"Vacationers".We had a lot of fun and a lot of actual ski time, so we left tired and happy.We'd go back again, but probably wait a year to bring back our newbie kids bear creek is better for them for the next year or so.
